Emmanuel — God is with Us

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).”

God is with us. He sent his son and He is with us from birth to the end. In the seasons of life that are hard He is with us. In our celebrations He is with us and He will be with us through every season and circumstance, until we breathe our last breath. I love the name Emanuel. It’s beautiful and brings peace to my soul just saying it. He is the prince of peace and our savior who brought hope to us through his birth, and everlasting life through the price he paid in death.

I pray the Christmas Story we read in the Word of God brings peace to your soul this season. I pray that as the name Emmanuel is spoken, that peace and hope rise up to drown out the noise and pain this life brings. What a beautiful time to celebrate Him who came for us and is with us and loves us so much.

Thank you Father for the gift of the Christmas season and the love you showed us through the birth of Jesus. Thank you for walking with us in every season. And thank you for a new revelation of your love!
